  • Public gallows erected at East 156 and Waterloo , named Friedmans Folly.
  • As a potential deterrent to crime in the North Collinwood neighborhood of Cleveland , Ohio a thirty foot steel frame gallows has been erected. Further plans to erect a public stockade are also under consideration. An early name for the steel gallows is proposed after the city employee who made it a reality. Henceforth it will be known as Friedman's Folly.
